About Me

I am a documentary filmmaker. My directorial career began with Sertres, my first documentary short film, which premiered in the official selection of the Locarno Film Festival in 2014. My hour-long documentary, See You Tomorrow, God Willing!, competed at IDFA in 2017 and was screened at festivals worldwide.

My most personal project to date is Polaris, my debut feature film, which had its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes ACID. Since then, Polaris has garnered international acclaim, screening at prestigious festivals such as the Camden International Film Festival, Hot Docs, the Marrakech Film Festival, the Seville European Film Festival, IDFA, and the Trento Film Festival. The film has also been distributed in over 30 cinemas across France and is available on major streaming platforms.

While directing remains my primary focus, I have also collaborated with other filmmakers in various capacities. I was the First Assistant Director on Varicella and Aquarela, both directed by Victor Kossakovsky, and co-wrote Gunda, which premiered at the Encounters Berlin Film Festival in 2020. My editorial work includes Architecton, also directed by Kossakovsky, which premiered in Competition at the Berlin Film Festival in 2024. Since 2020, I have been working as a project writing tutor in the Master’s Program in Creative Documentary Film at Pompeu Fabra University.

SOBRE Mí

Mi carrera como directora comenzó con Sertres, mi primer cortometraje documental, que se estrenó en la selección oficial del Festival de Locarno en 2014. Después dirigí el largometraje documental Hasta mañana, si Dios quiere, que compitió en IDFA en 2017 y se proyectó en numerosos festivales internacionales.

Mi proyecto más personal hasta ahora es Polaris, mi primer largometraje, que tuvo su estreno mundial en la sección ACID del Festival de Cannes en 2022. Desde entonces, Polaris se ha exhibido en festivales de renombre como el Camden International Film Festival, Hot Docs, el Festival de Cine de Marrakech, el Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla, IDFA y el Trento Film Festival. Además, la película ha sido distribuida en más de 30 cines en Francia y está disponible en las principales plataformas digitales.

Aunque la dirección es mi principal enfoque, también he colaborado en diversos roles con otros cineastas. Fui primera ayudante de dirección en Varicella y Aquarela, ambas dirigidas por Victor Kossakovsky, y coescribí Gunda, que se estrenó en la sección Encounters del Festival de Berlín en 2020. También he trabajado como montadora en Architecton, nuevamente bajo la dirección de Kossakovsky, que se estrenó en Competencia en el Festival de Berlín en 2024. Desde el 2020 trabajo como tutora de escritura de proyectos en el Máster de Cine Documental Creativo de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra.
